Was it raining in England, Poland or anywhere in Europe, no surprise, but it's a place you wouldn't expect precipitation. I suppose there'll be some folk who would guess where the rain was captured. And what weather conditions did you wake up to? :-)

'Our' biking path area has turned into a pond, same about a small park north of The Loop. As the ground was still frozen, the water had nowhere to go. A man was seen water skiing attached to the car in one of the roads towards Highland Park!

The friend living abroad who supplied these photos, wishes to add that in the first year of life in this hot and far away land, there was rain only on three days in the first full twelve months. The second year was the same. Now it is April 2013, and rain still occurs, and has done this year, on many days. And the sky is grey and the temperature is not yet even 35 every day. Clearly, global warming is needed, and the same in much of Europe !
ReplyDeleteLooks like you are right, dear friend. It's the first of May and I woke up to rain in Poland. Just as well the government-endorsed Labour Day parade is the thing of the past.
