The hottest day
We are promised 32 degrees Celsius here in London today... I want to be beside the seaside where 'she sells sea shells on the sea shore'. But I have other commitments today. One has to prioritise. :-)
Maybe I will see Roula from Greece and thank her for writing some comments here, on my blog.
Roula is learning English in London.

Days like that I miss Greece where it's easy (even in Athens) to go to the beach after work and stay as long as you want. Anyway and here it wasn't so bad. After my English class me and my husband went to waterloo where we would meet a couple of friends. It was a very beautiful night. We had some beers to a pub by the river. Opposite the Saint's Paul Cathedral under an incredible cloudy and in sunset's color sky. It looks like a painting. One of the most beautiful pictures I have ever see. Later in the night a big storm was visible in the horizon and the people around were shouting with us every time the lightnings was interrupting the darkness ( I hope you can understand what I am writing about). Any way it was such a beautiful night. I am waiting forward the next 32 degrees day in London!
ReplyDeleteYes, I miss Greece too. It was so good earlier this year in Crete: the sea, the beach, the sun, the people and the surrounding countryside... I want to go there again soon.:-)
