A star-town

One day last week I met a woman who told me about her hometown in Croatia. It was started as a new fortress against the Ottoman Empire and built in the shape of a six-pointed star! You can still see the original shape in the expanded town. I remember a holiday visit to that part of Europe  in the late 1980s. It must be very different now...
