So much untold

It's not comfortable to get by without the Internet. The telephone is too small for me to replace the laptop. A few more days and I will be re-connected, though. Meanwhile, many stories escape me and will probably never make it to the blog. The first week in London went by in a wink. Many interesting encounters, loads of work and removing the cobwebs in the abode.;-) Absence makes the spiders feel at home!

Yesterday, on the way home I encountered two fantastic people: Ambassadors for London near Victoria & Albert Museum. We had a nice chat and I took pictures. They are doing a great job telling people about things to do and see in London, providing them with maps and leaflets stored in their little van:

Do you know why little green buildings like this one were built and what purpose they serve nowadays?

I'm trying to catch up with my posting here. Hurriedly attaching a few snaps. 

Below are a few examples of items you could find at a charity shop called Octavia Foundation in Brompton Road, between Harrods and Victoria & Albert Museum:

I walked a bit further, having crossed the fashion hive of Sloane Street, to look at the shop windows of Harvey Nichols. The reflections of the recently mushroomed modern high rise made an interesting mixture with the displays:

After a long journey by two tubes;-),  I returned to Ealing Broadway:

If anybody bothers to look here, they will see mostly the pictures I took when travelling by bus from Hammersmith to Fulham Road and then walking to Kings Rd and then later travelling by another bus to Acton Old Town Hall. In the meantime I did a few useful things and had a swim at the Chelsea Sports Centre. I must say the level of chlorine are higher there than in the pool in Skarzysko.
