Notting Hill Carnival, a big Caribbean fiesta, starts in London tomorrow. Three days of intense street entertainment and immense crowds in celebration of The West Indies culture must be a challenge for the organisers.
In Skarzysko, there is a small scale summer 'fiesta' on at the town park. I biked right through it yesterday, when it started. Here is a picture taken on the way:
I went for the last blackberry picking expedition. They were so aromatic, juicy and sweet. I picked them near this unusual pine tree:
