Today at The Ealing White House another meeting is held. The purpose? Preparations for the big September event: unveiling of a monument commemorating a Polish lancer, an large-scale patriotic and sentimental initiative of the house owner: Prince Jan Żyliński.
This model of the sculpture occupies the central spot on the table in the sunny living room.

Sir John Soane would visit William Turner at Sandycombe Lodge in Twickenham and go fishing in The Thames with him. Earlier on, the famous English painter had been paying visits to the eminent architect's Ealing country retreat, Pitzhanger Manor, to take part in the intellectual debates held there. Why I am mentioning that here and now? Because of the fact that Pitzhanger Manor and The White House are both in Ealing. All three residences were built or rebuilt by the three special man to suit their needs, reflect their architectural tastes and enjoy visits from their friends. Although the history of the artist's houses can be traced through the search engines, the story of the most recent one has yet to be told.

Gosh! Swept off my feet I am listening to this amazing poem read by the author to the sound of music and nature. Jeremy Clarke's "Every Thing Assembles into Rise" is what I needed and was meant to hear.
