Owing to my blogging in Polish friend, Ania, I learnt that The World Animal Day is celebrated on the 4th of October which is today!
This cow I met cycling out of the forest down Ponurego Street yesterday. When I was a child, my granny kept a cow and a few hens and so we had fresh dairy products. The cow was black and white like this one.

The butterfly sought shelter from the outdoors and ended its life on the carpet in my living room.
