Waking up on Crete I'd go to the balcony and enjoy this view every single day last week. Not bad, isn't it? There are plenty of holiday destinations, but there is something special about this secluded location that makes me want to return there. It's the beauty of the place and the people that attracts me. This year I had no time for a long chat with the resort owner as he was even more busy with work than last year. However, I still remember the stories and legends he told me about his chosen place to live and work, its distant and recent history, and of the island... Is there time to tell them to you?
