The purpose of this blog is to share in English some of my experiences in life and to hear about yours. I learnt English as a child and I’ve been teaching it to others so they can live better lives in the English-speaking world. Please contact me if you need help learning or improving your English and/or would like to visit places on and off the beaten track.

Art in Acton
An interesting small exhibition is on at W3Galley in Acton High Street. Passing by on a bike I saw the light on which meant there was a volunteer making it possible to visit. I did so. Apart from seeing the works by various artists I met Geraldine, a fascinating woman and also an artist. She comes from Northern Ireland and in her works she shows people's faces deformed as a result of bomb explosions or acid attacks.
