A stranger where she lives

There is an article I came across which I would like to go back to later. Maybe you would like to read it too? It's written by an English person who doesn't feel at home in her own country, precisely, the area in London she's been living in for almost two decades. Click here please if you want to read it.
If you do read it, please would you tell me what you think?

  1. I find it difficult to go along with the comments of someone who is a consulting editor for a right wing publicatiob such as the Salisbury Review. Areas change, new people move in and take time to settle. If white Brits stayed put more and politely tried to help new people adjust, it would be better for everyone. I wonder on the proportion of those who leave who are now benefitting substantially from the rents they are charging the newcomers or are relaxing in their countryside retreats enjoying the profits of their house sales whilst indulging their moaning whims, the sad bastards.

    1. A fair comment, Anthony, I think. Thank you for taking the time to read the article and reply. As people, we should be more tolerant of each other, but as history and current events worldwide show, we are far away from that...
