Just to say hello between treatments. So far: some blue sky becoming visible; one cat seriously stuck on the tree watched and admired for a brave leap off the high branch, several other feline creatures chasing one another seen on the way back from the freezer cubicle, which for the first time has been a rather bearable experience! I'm quite convinced it has a lot to do with the different person in charge today. Ice cold atmosphere continues in the exercise room opposite, it naturally spreads onto the patients from the smile-shy team there. They are of the sort who would be better off working away from customer service positions with their long faces and 'I've got no reason to smile so why would I?' attitude. Sad...
Luckily, there are also nice people around!

In the afternoon I planned to see an amateur performance commemorating 'The Doomed Soldiers' ( http://www.doomedsoldiers.com/ ) at the nearby parish church hall. However, I encountered a serious distraction leaving Marconi: there was another  free concert, I could hear beautiful live music - it was one of the Strausses.

The performance was staged at the church hall, not at the church itself:

The churchyard stones could make a good topic for the history and geology lesson:

Low winter sun makes everything look pretty:

Here is what is left of the snowman at Księże Pola:

My new friend, a frequent visitor to Busko-Zdrój, claims this pole is a sundial:

I watched the snow melt day by day only to hear about more snow in the forecast for tomorrow...

Wooden sculptures are displayed around the Cultural Centre. We went there to test The Cinnamon Cafe, but left the place at rapid speed because the smell was of many cooked dinners, not of the spice we hoped for.

Here are nature-made sculptures in the park:

Good night!

I caught a momentary glimpse of sun on the way from the freezer treatment room.

It's the third time and I still cannot find any slightest pleasure in being subjected to -140 degrees Celsius, even though it's for a very short time. However, there is a ray of hope. A lady I met yesterday told me she had been struggling to feel good about it for a week, today looked really happy and relaxed during and after the treatment. Also, another woman who came after me told me how much she loves the treatment and revealed that she was the first person to get into the kriosauna cubicle when it was introduced in Busko, and that the television was present!

I must stop here or I'll be late for the next treatment!:-)

I returned from an after lunch walk in time for the piano concert at Marconi:

There was also an evening walk which allowed us to admire the star studded winter sky and the full moon.
