Stary Młyn fiords, Borki water and Nietulisko ruins

I'm back from a great Sunday trip!
Our first stop was by The Stary Mlyn (Old Water Mill), although as we were turning left onto the road through the forest, we thought we would get to the next mill on the Kamienna River, the one with stables and cute Fjord Horses.

..
We whizzed through Wachock. I only quickly took a picture of a local WWII hero: Jan Piwnik, known as 'Ponury'.

Then we drove past Starachowice, the second of the Kamienna River trio: Skarżysko-Kamienna, Starachowice and Ostrowiec Świętokrzyski.

Next we stopped by a big man-made lake in Brody and took a walk towards the dam.

It was a rather scenic route...

We made a little detour to see another water resource, but we couldn't stop where we wanted, by the water.
Hence we drove on, stopped at the edge of the forest, in the shade, and had our packed lunch of homemade wholegrain bread from one of my dear neighbours and tuna salad that I made under the trees.
