This morning I've just opened: http://www.robertstachyra.eu/index.php?option=com_content&view=article&id=176:szczytami-gor-relacja-dzien-czwarty&catid=135&Itemid=549 to follow the live broadcast of the ongoing Skarzysko expedition to climb the 28 highest mountain peaks of Polish mountain ranges in the shortest possible time. Lucky them! They can see it all with their own eyes! However, it doesn't come without sweat! They have hardly any sleep. That would kill me nowadays, I'm afraid... I do admire them for their stamina and perseverance. It's great to look at their pictures and read their 'logbook'. Here is one of their photos:
On Monday they climbed Rysy, the highest Polish peak:
Don't they deserve a big thank you for showing the beauty of Poland in such an unusual way?

I would like to share with you a link to my Swiss friend's website:
http://makershop.in/mulhouse/ and his pictures: http://www.flickr.com/photos/beercanchickenthefirst/sets/72157634061445023/ . Looks like a great initiative! Pity it's only in German in French, though.

Stanislaw Wilhelm Lilpop, I just heard on the radio, was an extraordinary man. Among his many achievements, he is credited for the first Polish colour photo. There is an exhibition of his incredible photography on in Warsaw now.
