Via Krakow to London!

Another longer journey ahead of me and a nice family get-together!

It was good to see my nearest and dearest in the settings of Krakow Old Town after a relaxing train journey from Skarzysko.

Leaving Skarzysko station:

Rejow lake:

Three men beginning the day in Suchedniow:

After a stroll from Brama Florianska (Florian's Gate) and stopping at a coin shop, we found a table outside The Loch Camelot to enjoy coffee.
I couldn't resist taking my English friend on tour of the café interiors including a basement stage which often hosts entertaining shows and concerts.

Szczepanski Square, once a cemetery, more recently a parking place!

Inside the Palace of Fine Arts:

Collegium Majus is the oldest building of the Jagiellonian University. Here is its courtyard:

This could be interesting:

Sukiennice:

A Moroccan market outside the Krakow Railway Station Building:

This picture I took travelling by bus to the airport at Balice:
For a moment we were considering a taxi, well, until we found out that the driver wanted almost twice as much as the cost of two fast train tickets Skarzysko-Krakow! We went by bus paying under a pound each for the tickets! The only problem was to get the right money. The ticket machine did not accept the new ten-zloty banknotes! But, as they say: If there is a will, there is a way!
