Friday was far too busy to click here. Most important was going to the Joy of Sound session at the Vauxhall Heritage Centre and meeting the people there to talk about our project of going to Poland!
The Joy of Sound resides at a 150-year-old church, St Peter's in Vauxhall, next to the Vauxhall City Farm. It's founder and leader, William Langden was there, together with other volunteers, tuning the instruments and preparing the space for the music and singing session.
The setting for these inclusive workshop is quite impressive: a Victorian church!
An hour before the session is spent sitting over tea and discussing various matters. This time I had my more than five minutes to invite my host to a collaboration with The Cultural Centre in Skarzysko-Kamienna. I also learned a lot about their other projects and was impressed to find out how much they had grown.
