My town... More and more I realise that I do not belong here...
...
Today I cycled to Bor and spent a couple of hours in the forest.
I only saw three people there: a man walking the dog and two young lads jogging. I was supposed to see a friend, but that would be too much for me and the bike. Hence, I tried to persuade her to join me at Bor which is not that far for her. I failed. Parking a car would be a problem and her bicycle hasn't been on the road for a year. Thus we only chatted over the phone and it was just me and the forest, and the river, and the trees, moss and.... mushrooms! Some of the mushrooms made their way to my dinner plate today! (Would this one be my last post????)
...
I've just looked at my emails and found a website selling all sorts of bicycle-related stuff. There I read about The Burning Man Festival and thought you'd like to know about it too. Here is the link.

Rejow: water, trees, mushrooms from a bike
Listening to a friend who has lost a job... Life can be brutal...
.....
Asked by my relations in yet another country, I am adding more pictures of our home town and surroundings!
First, a view from my friend's window. We went to high school together. She always talks about the doughnuts my mother made. She has never eaten anything as good as the ones she made then. I will tell my mom next time we speak!
My bicycle waited for me at a little greengrocer's guarded by a retired music teacher who runs the shop with his wife, a retired librarian. I bought some delicious apples, but this delicious looking pear was irresistible:
When I stopped the bike in Rejow, I decided against having some lunch at The Mysliwska Restaurant. The sun was getting low and made more sense to cycle around the lake first.
Here are some mushrooms spotted from the bike. A few will make their way to my lunch tomorrow!
