Leybourne Animal Centre discovered by chance

Photo The sea looked calm, but it was beginning to rain as we were leaving at lunchtime. I wanted a short walk in the fresh seaside air before getting into the car, but the nearby Tandori restaurant successfully saturated the air with its fragrances: a Sunday lunch in the air....

As we motorway was taking us deeper and deeper into the countryside, the weather was gradually improving and we could enjoy more and more of the blue sky. Even the Sun showed His face lowering towards the horizon.

Tired of being in the car< i agreed with Teddy and suggested getting off the motorway and stopping for a ten-minute stroll in the fresh air before the sun went down. And so we did without delaying. That's how we found ourselves at an Animal Rescue Centre off the M20. This is where I saw a cat road sign for the first time:

This is the centre:

And some residents:

Apart from many cats we saw a young dog, many rabbits and other smaller animals.
There was a wooden dog for sale at the entrance:

On departure we saw another unusual sign:

Isn't every day of life worth living with all its little and big surprises?
