'Dear friends, artists, patrons, fellow music-lovers, and those let out for the day,
It
was thought that after Saturday 10th, our two wonderful musicians might
want a rest, but they had already decided to rehearse new pieces by
Bach, Chopin, Brahms and Beethoven FOR SATURDAY 24TH OCTOBER ...
....to which you are NOT invited but EXPECTED at the usual time of 2 pm onwards.
Unforgettable
was the intervention by the duo High-Note, who we must invite again,
and Rebecca's duet with the tenor Jim Scott, threatened to shake the
foundations of the building ... a structural surveyor has been
consulted.
A
tasting of Chateau NHS will again be obligatory, and we would ask you
to further note, that the following Friday the 30th at 6 pm, there will
be a Private View, to which Gatecrashers are invited, of an exhibition
of truly fine, Quirky, and affordable paintings by Sue Randle and Bo
Meacher.
The accent on form, craftsmanship, and colour, that which indeed brightens our lives.

If you have a moment, please note our favourite charities are Macmillan, whom all know, and the lesser known, ORBIS.
ORBIS possess a flying jumbo jet
converted into a Surgery that flies continually with ophthalmic
surgeons, (who of the most part, donate their time) to give back Sight
to children, in Africa, the Indian Sub-continent and Asia.
Do
look it up, and it is our hope that our champagne bucket, placed at the
exit, will show how much you have been impressed, indeed inspired, by
the work ORBIS does.

The above invitation arrived in my email box today and is from the befriended arty bunch in Folkestone! Thought you may want to know and maybe even join in the fun! :-)
Elena Priestley has a gallery next to Frank's, as I discovered recently.
