An Ealing pear and Chester apple victims

A pear from the neighbours' garden has landed in ours, asking to be picked. I'm fine. Tempted by a special offer, I bought a packet of four womanly-shaped fruits on the way from the pharmacy the other day. Still, I am slowly making my way through them. Anyway, the sight prompted my memories of a tragic fate of some beautiful pond fish in a Chester garden, but there is a worry that I have already told it to you here... Well, it's been almost a year since I started this blog!:-)
