Today a January issue of 'The Contributoria' arrived in my mail box. I have just read an article about the London expats who decide to go back to their home countries, but feeling out of place there, return to London. Another article has 'bonzai' in the title. Don't expect anything about theminiature tree from Japan, it's about the spread of a new dangerous drug in Turkey.

One of my friends likes unusual English words. Here is one that should leave him substantially kerfuffled and discombobulated:
'omphaloskepsis'.
Now, owing to Dear Wiki, I know that it comes from greek and means 'contemplation of one's navel as an aid to meditation'.
