Saturday in Skarzysko greeted us with some water coming from the sky and... with power cut. Hence a delay with beginning the day. Catching up now! A friend whose street was not affected by 'electricity arrest' sang us a morning serenade under the balcony from his racing bike. He was on the way to a biking race disregarding the rain.
There are sounds of some cultural activity going on nearby. I'm going to find out what's going on when on the way to a post office. Two little parcels to be shipped today. The English guest is posting a birthday present to his five-year old grandson who is living in Istanbul now. Yesterday we found a New York taxi at the nearest toy shop in the Hermes shopping centre. Have I told you before that Hermes was the very first department store in Skarzysko-Kamienna? It opened in mid-1970s. A big event it was....
