Gaining background knowledge

Good morning! I'm skimming through the bilingual Pl-Eng online guide to Busko Zdroj in preparation for tomorrow's trip: http://przewodnik.kurort24.pl/pdf/PrzewodnikBuskoWWW.pdf
A few places mentioned in the guide brought back memories of a day-hike in that region when I was at the first year at uni. It was exactly on the 10th of May and we went with our History of Education lecturer who was passionate about tourism as well.
In Skorocice Nature Reserve we could admire Japanese, or maybe Mongolian if not simply steppe, dwarf cherry trees in bloom and try to spot enormous spiders in Poland's biggest gypsum cavern near a gypsum gorge with astonishing karst land forms.:-)
