I'll add a few pictures featuring the collections of The Public Library in Skarzysko-Kamienna. I took these pictures on the same cloudy day I went to show Rydno to my English guest. The library takes pride in housing a little museum showing the life and work of one of the most eminent Skarzysko citizens: priest and professor Wlodzimierz Sedlak. There are also many rare documents of historic value.
It's good to know that the public library in Sokola Street houses a temporary exhibition on the history of Skarzysko-Kamienna which celebrates the 90th anniversary of its 'townhood' this year, 2013 AD. Congratulations!
(A hint for English learners: think of any other nouns suffixed with '-hood', in other words, ending in '-hood'. How many can you come up with before 'googling' it?)
