Fog, frost and 'Memories of Mortlake' in East Sheen

It was very foggy and cold today.

Fog over Piccadilly Line in South Ealing:

The Thames near Waterman's Centre in Brentford:

The Royal River from Kew Bridge:

A curiosity shop in East Sheen was closed, unfortunately:

Guyana doll:

That's what I could see from the outside:

Christmas ornaments at the garden centre across the road:

Some funny trinkets at a charity shop:

A friend of mine already obtained butcher's qualifications, otherwise I might have been tempted to get him this pig:

I was really tempted to get this little picture frame in the shape of Noah's Ark...

Belgian chocolate shop window:

East Sheen community project premises:

This old Christmas card was framed many years ago and survived the years much better than the frame itself.

What a cosy tea cosy!:-)
A smiling Guyana doll:

The four elephants were immediately bought by a lady whose daughter loves wooden animals:

In the meantime I was listening to an old lady who was born in Germany to a mother from the Baltic states and a German father who was a pediatrician. During her studies she met her future husband, of Welsh and Jewish roots. She was his student and her family didn't want to accept her marital choice, but the life showed that she was right, they've been truly happy together and their son is a successful professional! Isn't that nice to hear?

Some  bric-a-brac:

Nice piece of ceramics?
Good night!
