Walking with friends along Wauxhall Bridge this morning I stopped to admire lovely tomatoes growing in someone's windows. As I was pointing them to my companions, an elderly couple passing by told us that the lady who lives there has maintained this lovely window garden for almost twenty years! This started a little conversation which resulted in an invitation to visit the couple's patio garden at the back. We were also shown a charming little conservatory and had a pleasant time chatting to the hospitable English people.
