Elephant competition!

Time for a competition!
The task is to spot the elephants in a picture of today's post. The first person to submit the correct answer in the Comments below will be awarded sincere congratulations!

We are just back from the seaside trip and need a nice rest. All was great except the first leg of the return journey. The motorway was blocked. All the way to Ashford we were more stationary than moving forward.

Leaving Folkestone along the Leas we had no idea of the bottleneck ahead of us...

Three lines of cars were waiting and waiting to move ahead. People wanted to know what was going on:

Everybody had to leave the motorway before Ashford.

Hence, we continued the journey on yet another scenic route.

Ashford historic centre tempted to make a detour and look closely at the peculiar church towers, but he had to carry on to make up for the delay.
At this sight both of us thought of a model town somewhere south west of London. We saw it several years ago on the way from Lyme Regis or Cornwall.
However, when the pre-sunset sun lent its charm to the surroundings, we turned into a road leading to Charing and enjoyed this pretty Kentish village adorned with a Grade 1 Listed Building: Archibshop's Palace, one of a few serving Archbishops of Canterbury on the way to and from London.

Having taken a walk around the churchyard beside the palace ground, we went ahead bearing in mind that it was high time to stop for a meal. A Kentish country pub seemed an ideal venue. Thus we made a small detour to the right this time following the sign which promised a suitable place only a mile away. Well, to us (hungry and tired) the distance seemed to exceed a mile and the pub didn't look like it had much going on. We went back on our route without stopping.

Another detour following a pub sign was a fiasco as well.

However, just as we passed the roundabout with a road to the left towards the famous Leeds Castle, we saw the ideal place for our evening feast. It was The Park Gate Inn, named so after the gate that used to leed to the Leeds Castle Park. Here is the view of the car park and the park in the distance.
And the last picture of the day shows how enjoyable the pub visit was!

Good night!
